Large Family of the Year 2018

The board of ELFAC decided to award family Abaffy from Slovakia as “European Large Family of the Year 2018.”

It is a family with 11 children living in small flat in Vrutky – a town in midle of Slovakia. Family Abaffy is a very good example of how large families, even in economical adversities, can hold their dignity, care for other families, provide solutions to find jobs without leaving the country. A good example that shows that despite economy, a large family is  possible and it’s the real treasure in life.
