From the 18th to 21st of June 2025, the Family Day will be held in Monte Urano, in the province of Fermo, organized by the municipal administration in collaboration with large families association Anfn and others

This is an exceptional and unmissable opportunity, especially considering the growing absence, in our country, of public demonstrations and initiatives in favor of the family. Anfn recognized the beauty and importance of this initiative and decided to actively support it, contributing to the organization of the event and choosing it as a time to also celebrate its regional festival.
Following the collaboration born, since the installation of the new Council, between Anfn, represented by the family of the Provincial Coordinators of Fermo, Lorenzo Diomedi and Federica Ciccarone, and the Municipal Administration, in particular in the persons of Councilor Letizia Zaccari and Mayor Andrea Leoni, the Association has decided to include with conviction its regional festival of 2025 within this event.
In fact, there are few initiatives that put the family at the center and when these emerge, Anfn is there.
Anfn is an active part of the organization through its regional and provincial coordinators, who have collaborated with the Councilor for Family Policies. In particular, they became promoters of the invitation to the journalist and writer Costanza Miriano, who has always been close to the Association and known for her commitment to telling and enhancing family dynamics. He were present in Monte Urano on Sunday 22nd at 5 pm, at the municipal public gardens, presenting his book “Blessed the day we were wrong – Marriage maintenance manual”.
There were many events during the festival that concerned the family in the round, underlining its founding basis in our society. With numerous experts and the collaboration of other voluntary associations, the topics of health and prevention, conflicts in the family, even between generations, and how they can also influence the field of eating disorders were discussed.
The relationship, especially of the new generations, with new technologies and how they enter into family relationships was also discussed.
There were also plenty of moments of entertainment, music, joy, entertainment and theatre for children, but also moments of spiritual deepening when, on Sunday 22nd, in the beautiful and cheerful setting of the “Alex Langer” river park, within the municipal territory, a very well attended Mass was celebrated, followed by a moment of deep meditation and testimony with the mother of a large family, Anna Armentano, who shared her family experience of pain, but also of great light and Christian hope.
Finally, on Sunday afternoon, the closing moment of the party took place with a genuine and graceful meeting-comparison with the famous journalist and writer Costanza Miriano, who shared her experiences as a wife and mother with all those present, also presenting her book “Blessed the day we made a mistake – marriage maintenance manual”. Costanza, moreover, was invited by the Municipal Administration precisely on the proposal of Anfn, as an evident fruit of the collaboration born in recent months.
The meeting was attended, in addition to the provincial coordinators, also by the regional coordinators Paolo Campoli and Angela Galassi, and the delegated family Stefano Petracci and Serena Romanella.
Given the excellent result of the collaboration between the municipal administration and Anfn, while waiting for the next Family Festival, we hope that it will intensify and take root even more, through increasingly incisive initiatives in favor of large families in the Province of Fermo!
Online General Assembly for the Italian Association
The Italian Large families Association is organizing an online general Assembly in order to address some important issues such as the general budget, on the 21st of June, at 9.30. During the General Assembly there will be the presentation of the first “Social Report” produced by the Association.
The general Assembly will be broadcasted from Lamezia Terme, where delegate families from the Southern regions of Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia e Sicilia will gather for two days of training and friendship. “This meeting is precious moment for the Association – said Mr. Alfredo Caltabiano, president of ANFN – we will have the opportunity to exchange experience and good practices, enforce our network and program our agenda for the next months”.
