The Spanish Federation of Large Families (FEFN), together with the Extremadura Federation of Large Families (FEFANEX), will hold the 15th National Congress of Large Families in Badajoz on 10 October 2026, under the slogan ‘Large families: the best place to grow up’.
The congress will bring together large families from across Spain for a day of reflection, learning and family activities, highlighting the social value of large families and the positive environment they provide for children’s development.
Alongside the programme of talks for parents, children and teenagers will enjoy a parallel programme of workshops, games and activities designed specifically for them.
The event will feature several renowned speakers who will address topics related to the family, education and social issues. The opening address will be given by Raúl Sánchez, Secretary-General of ELFAC (European Confederation of Large Families), whose participation underlines the European dimension of the conference and the importance of promoting family-friendly policies across Europe.
The conference will also offer families the opportunity to share experiences, discuss common challenges and strengthen ties within the large families’ community, whilst discovering the cultural and tourist attractions of Badajoz and the surrounding region.
