The Estonian Association of Large Families is welcoming families with large children to the Tallinn Zoo on May 18th for the spring Big Family Day. On this year’s Family Day, we invite families to get active in cooperation with the Estonian Olympic Committee and LIDL Estonia!

Come and spend a memorable day with the whole family at the zoo, where you can expect:

Announcing the Big Family of the Year 2025!
Exciting surprise guests: a chance to meet famous Estonian athletes
Family orienteering game at the zoo
Delicious treats
Activities for children
Prizes, games and lots of joy from being together

Event schedule:

10:00-13:00 The zoo gates are open for Family Day guests. Entrance from the West Gate

12.00 Opening of the day in the zoo auditorium, at the Western Gate and announcement of the “Family of the Year 2025”

13.00-15.00 Lunch at BISON Square

Quiz and meeting with athletes

13.00-17.00 Orienteering game at the zoo.

To redeem the prize, you must reach the finish line at the West Gate no later than 17.00.

The zoo closes at 19:00

Imagine: elephants, polar bears and… your family! Come celebrate the power of extended family at the zoo!

Please allow enough time for ticket inspection and, if necessary, finding a parking space when you come to the zoo. Parking in the zoo’s west gate parking lot costs 2.10 EUR/day. Parking can be paid at the cash desk.

Ticket sales will continue until seats are filled.
