European Employment & Social Rights Forum (online and onsite)

November 16 - November 18

On 16 and 17 November 2022, the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission is organising its inaugural annual flagship event in Brussels, the European Employment & Social Rights Forum.

The Forum will be a unique meeting point for opinion and decision makers to discuss current issues around European employment and social affairs.

What’s on the programme?

The theme of this year’s Forum will be the social dimension of the green transition.

The cost of living is currently the number one concern for people across the EU. With energy supplies becoming a priority due to the war in Ukraine, people are focused on paying their bills. If the European Union is to meet its climate ambitions, the right policies need to be in place to ensure that the transition is socially just and everyone is brought along.

National and European decision makers and leading experts, will be invited to take stock of measures already taken and explore thought-provoking solutions for the future.

Join the first European Employment & Social Rights Forum and be part of the discussion on how to achieve this and what policies the European Union and its Member States need to put in place to ensure the green transition is fair and full of opportunities.

So register now for the event to participate in finding innovative solutions together!
