The President of Croatian Large Families Association “Obitelji 3plus“ was a guest of the TV show Argumenti: The Importance of long-term demografic policy – are we late?
President of the Croatian Large Families Association “Obitelji 3plus“, Ph.D. On December 7, 2023, Kristian Jambrošić was a guest on the show Argumenti on Laudato TV and emphasized that families with three or more children expect support from Croatian politics and are at the same time disappointed in the current situation. He emphasized the needs of 3plus families and the challenges they face.
“Every child needs a child allowance, a child needs a place in kindergarten, families need available real estate and support in the form of housing and tax policies so that they can afford them. “Parents need the opportunity to work with half the working time and full salary, as well as support when buying a bigger car,” said the president of the association Obitelji 3plus, Ph.D. Kristian Jambrošić in the show Argumenti on the topic “The importance of long-term demographic policy – are we late?”.
We also heard in the show that we cannot influence the desire and decision of parents to have more children, but what we can influence is support for parents who want to have children, but do not dare because they do not have the support of legislators and society. We heard several positive examples of population and demographic policy abroad that could be applied in Croatia.

The first Fair for the exchange of childrens’ clothes, shoes, toys and other equipment of the Croatian Large Families Association “Obitelji 3plus“ was held
Everyone was invited to the fair, but we gave preference to the members of our Association in such a way that they could take items in the first hour, and for the next hour, taking items was also possible for those who were not members of the Association. We received about 30 applications and almost 700 various items. The joy on the faces of people who were leaving the fair with bags full of different pieces of clothing, shoes or toys was our goal, which was achieved. Numerous inquiries from visitors about the next fair and their suggestions are a great motivation for us to continue organizing such fairs.
Pieces that were left and weren’t exchanged were donated to the social cooperative Humana Nova and also center Krugovi so we are thanking them for their cooperation. Finally, a big thank you to our volunteers, without whom the fair would not be possible.
We are proud that on Saturday, December 2, 2023, the first Fair for the exchange of children’s clothes, shoes, toys, and other equipment was held. The fair took place in the Point shopping center Zagreb from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
