Families enjoy ski course organized by Czech large families association

YMCA Živá rodina (Living family) organized the snow activity to facilitate family bonding and provide new experiences.

Founded in 1991, YMCA Živá rodina (Living Family) is one of European associations establishing ELFAC. They write, “One of our crucial activities is to strengthen relationship between the husband and wife, as well as between parents and children and support of families with more children.

This activity is manifested by summer and winter camps for whole families organized every year. One of the winter camps with ski course (school) for children as well as for parents was in Advent time on December 6-8, 2024 in Krkonoše mountains in our YMCA house (height above sea level 800 m). 14 families (together about 50 participants) enjoyed the skiing, snow, beautiful nature and pleasant evenings spent together.”

Pictures below show kids waxing their skis and snowboards and enjoying the slopes at 1200m elevation.
