On May 1st 2026, the city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, hosted the second edition of the National Gala of Talented Children from Large Families, an event organized by the Romanian Large Families Association (ASFANU). The event recognizes and celebrates the achievements of children growing up in families with three or more children.
The second edition of the Gala brought together 146 children from 20 counties across Romania, representing families with three, four, five, and even up to eleven children. Through music, dance, sports, visual arts, and other creative disciplines, these young participants showcased not only their talents but also the hard work and commitment behind every achievement.
The Gala’s laureates took the stage at Wonderland Resort in Cluj-Napoca, offering the audience inspiring performances that reflected creativity, discipline, courage, and determination. Each moment on stage was the result of countless hours of practice, personal effort, and the unwavering support of families who encourage their children to pursue their passions and develop their abilities.
Beyond celebrating individual achievements, the Gala sought to highlight a broader message: excellence, performance, and talent thrive in large families. By giving visibility to talented children from families with three or more children, ASFANU aims to challenge stereotypes and promote a more balanced understanding of the contribution that large families make to society.
The event was also an opportunity to bring together families from across the country, celebrate children’s accomplishments, and recognize the dedication of parents who invest time, energy, and resources in helping their children reach their full potential.
The National Gala of Talented Children from Large Families is a celebration of talent, perseverance, family support, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to shine.
