The Mimler family, with 9 children and expecting the 10th, designated by the member associations of ELFAC as the European Large Family of the year 2024, was awarded at her home in Ramet, Alba County, Romania.
The award was presented by Raul Sanchez, the secretary general of ELFAC, who came especially from Barcelona for the moment, together with Irina Granzulea, the president of ASFANU, the large families association of Romania, and Marinela Balasz, from ASFANU – Delegation of Brasov.
They experienced the joy of a big and close family, raised with love and wisdom by Gabriel and Elizabeth, who give wings to wonderful and talented children: Felix, Dhyana, Michael, Johannes, Dorothea, Dimitria, Anna, Efrem and Rafaela (and the 10th who is coming in two months).
And we met them in the most suitable frame: the first edition of the Medieval Family Festival, which they themselves initiated together with Asociația Lumea lui Dumnezeu. A festival that took us back in time: weapons and medieval wear, tools, knights and princesses, duels and dances, all in a fairytale landscape – Valea Uzei.
We are happy that a beautiful family from Romania has received this European recognition and we are grateful to the sponsors and partners who value the value of the family and have supported the members of the Mimler family with gifts: Fundatia ASSA, BIC Romania, De la Georgia florist, Boutique Garage, confectionery D-Toys marochinari and Caresta Bags.
A large family is not just about several hearts under one roof, but a source of values that, once shared, can hold an entire community together.
