Advancing Access, Care and Training for people at risk of anaphylaxis.
Introducing ACT for Anaphylaxis Alliance
Anaphylaxis can become life-threatening within minutes. Strengthening preparedness, improving access to emergency treatment, and ensuring people know how to respond are essential to making everyday settings safer for those at risk.
This World Allergy Week, we are launching ACT for Anaphylaxis Alliance to help close these gaps.
ACT for Anaphylaxis Alliance is a European initiative dedicated to improving preparedness and response to serious allergic reactions through:
🚑 Improved access to emergency treatment
🩺 Better care across the allergy patient pathway
🎓 training that enables an immediate and confident response
Our work will bring together patients, caregivers, families, healthcare professionals, sector representatives, policymakers and partners to exchange best practices, support research-based solutions and drive policy change.
👇 The examples highlighted below show what stronger preparedness can look like in practice, from training to clearer response pathways and better access to treatment.
We are grateful to the members and supporting partners joining this collective effort:
Active Citizenship Network, European Large Families Confederation (ELFAC), EPSA – European Pharmaceutical Students’ Association, European Society for Emergency Medicine, Medical Emergency Response, Global Allergy and Asthma Excellence Network
