On 20 March 2025, ELFAC took part in the opening event of the Intergroup on Demography at the European Parliament in Brussels. The meeting brought together MEPs, NGOs, and institutional stakeholders to discuss key demographic challenges and outline the Intergroup’s objectives and planned activities.
The vice-president of ELFAC, Kinga Joó had the opportunity to highlight the interests of large families in Europe and stress the importance of policies that support them.
The event was a great success, fostering valuable exchanges and networking among participants. We look forward to further cooperation with the Intergroup to ensure that the voice of large families is heard in the European policy debate on demography.
