On Saturday, June 1, 2024, the Croatian association of families with three or more children, Obitelji 3plus, held “Family games without boundaries” and a picnic in Varaždin in the Old town. About twenty families gathered, it was great fun. Such events are a great joy for children, but also for parents who enjoy the laughter and joy of their children, getting to know and connecting with other families, and joint participation in sports games, which they often do not have the opportunity to do. Families bond in a special way when they have a challenge in front of them that they need to overcome together, all with lots of cheering and laughter
We also thank the donors who contributed with small snacks, drinks and gifts, Vindija from Varaždin, Pizzeria Popolare from Vidovec, Biovitalis from Turčin, Fanon from Petrijanec, and the Accredo center. Many thanks also to our volunteers of the Obitelji 3plus Branch – Varaždin County and the City of Varaždin for providing the space to hold the games.
We have united to support the Croatian national football team at the 2024 European Football Championship, which is being held in Germany.
In 3plus families, we know best how important it is to support and support each other both when it’s good and when it’s hard. As a sign of support for the Croatian players in that demanding time, we collected drawings and messages of support that we forwarded to them.
Numerous messages, drawings and videos of support arrived at our e-mail address. In a situation when something is not going well for one of our family members, we console, encourage, remember all the good situations and all the talents, convinced that there will be success in the end. 3plus families are inexhaustible sources of laughter, tears, and encouragement.
