The 4th. European Large Families Conference took place in the city of Barcelona from 13-14 December. The conference started on Saturday 13th. at the International University of Catalonia (UIC) with different speakers on family policies and the situation of large families. Next day, 14 Sunday, the attendants of the Conference moved to PortAventura, a big fan-park close to Tarragona, where Jose Ribeiro Castro, member of the European Parliament, received the ELFAC Award in recognition of his work defending and promoting the rights of the family and childhood. After the ceremony, families were joining the park.
